- All contestants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older on May 1, 2008, to participate in the “Stuck on a Truck” competition.
- Employees of First State Bank, and all other sponsors, as well as their advertising agencies and entities connected with the conduct of the contest and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
- Unless otherwise announced, only one (1) prize will be given away for each finishing place: First place - a 2008 Ford F150 truck. The value of the vehicle is based on the manufacturer’s suggested selling price. Second place prize - a 2008 Yamaha Big Bear 4-Wheeler. Third place prize – a Trinidad Hot Springs Spa. Fourth place prize – 3 Ton Trane Air Conditioning Unit along with installation. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned and no substitutes are allowed. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the stated prize(s). Contestants will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and waiver. All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other expenses associated with ownership of all prizes will be the responsibility of the winner. A 1099 tax form will be issued to the winner and filed with the Internal Revenue Service.
- To win the prize, contestants must be available to participate in the “Stuck on a Truck” competition beginning at noon on May 1, 2008.
- Participation in the contest constitutes permission to use the contestants’ name, likeness, and voice for any type of publicity purposes at the discretion of First State Bank and sponsors without additional compensation. All contest calls to The Point 94.1 FM may be taped for later broadcast or aired live.
- All contestants will be subjected to a urinalysis at the beginning of the contest to ensure they are not under the influence of illegal drugs or any controlled substance. This test will be performed by an independent lab at the expense of the “Stuck on a Truck” sponsors. There will be random urinalysis during the remainder of the contest. If use of an illegal drug or controlled substance is detected from any contestant, such contestant will be disqualified. Any contestant may be disqualified should their continued participation threaten their health and well being as decided by the attending judge.
- To become a contestant:
- Register anytime during regular business hours at any First State Bank location and other sponsor locations on the reverse. Complete addresses can be found at www.stuckonatruck.com. Registration will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. Hours of registration at locations must comply with that particular business’ hours of operation.
- Starting Monday, March 31, The Point 94.1 FM will announce a registered name Monday-Friday at 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm, and 8 pm. When that name is announced, that specified person will have 9 minutes and 41 seconds to call The Point 94.1 at 501-433-0094 or 1-800-844-0094 to qualify. A total of 75 names will be selected randomly from all drawing locations and announced on The Point 94.1 between March 31 and April 18. After qualification, potential contestants must appear in person at First State Bank’s main office, 620 Chestnut, Conway, within three days of their qualification.
- To be a final contestant each qualifier must attend a pre-event orientation session on Monday, 7 p.m., April 21, 2008, at the event site, 1208 Oak St., Conway, AR. The selection of the 25 final contestants and two alternates will be made (by random drawing) at this time. At this time all final contestants must have their photo taken and give officials a brief biography of themselves. This is MANDATORY. Contestants must also bring a valid Arkansas drivers license or proof of being an Arkansas resident at that time. Only one contestant per household and/or family will be selected.
- Contestant substitutions are prohibited. One (1) entry per day per household per location. Identification must be provided at all times. All signatures will be verified.
- During the actual “Stuck on a Truck” competition, contestants will be given a five (5) minute break each hour. Once every six (6) hours, contestants will be given a 15 minute break. Except during permitted breaks, one hand must remain on the vehicle at all times. A contestant may not sit, lie, lean, kneel, squat, stand against or otherwise use the vehicle to support his/her body. Contestants must wear T-shirts provided by the “Stuck on a Truck” competition at all times. Only contestants, judges, sponsors and officials will be allowed in the “Stuck on a Truck” area. All logo hats and caps must be approved by the “Stuck on a Truck” competition.
- By his/her participation, each contestant in the “Stuck on a Truck” competition agrees that First State Bank and other sponsors shall have no liability in connection with an individual’s participation in the contest, including any damages, personal injury or illness resulting from or arising out of participation in the contest.
- Changes or modifications to contest rules will be displayed in writing at First State Bank prior to becoming effective.
- Any profanity or harassment by any contestant or supporter of contestant will result in immediate disqualification of contestant.
- First State Bank will appoint judges to determine compliance with all official rules. All judges’ decisions are final and binding on all contestants. Failure to comply fully with all official rules shall be grounds for immediate disqualification of contestant.
- No purchase necessary. Purchase does not increase odds of winning.
- Each contestant will be provided a pit area for their personal belongings and to use for their breaks. Only two (2) support-crew members per contestant will be allowed in the designated pit area at a time. Credentials will be given and any outside assistance will constitute disqualification. Contestants leaving the competition will only be released by event staff to a member of their support crew. If no support crew is present, the contestant must remain at the site until a support crew member arrives.
- If severe weather ensues at any point in the contest, contestants will be moved to First State Bank where they will wait until the weather breaks and the contest resumes.
- No previous Stuck on a Truck first place finishers will be allowed to enter.
